Aadhar Housing Finance Customer Care is a financial institution that support individuals with housing loan requirements. Customer care informs individuals about their loan status while lenders can easily process documentation and verify with an Aadhaar Card.

Grievance Redressal

There are various ways by which you can reach out to UIDAI and have your queries resolved. They are -

1. Toll-Free Number

Just dial the Aadhaar customer care number i.e. 1947, and you can share your queries with IVRS (Interactive voice response system) and have responses to common or basic queries. This is a quick and easy process.

2. Contact Centre

Call on the same toll-free number above, and can you share your issues with an individual support executive over call, to have personalized advice for further actions. 

3. Chatbots

The AI-based chatbot, also known as Aadhaar Mitra, has been trained to respond to basic queries and share basic information such as PVC card status, Aadhaar center, etc. You can visit UIDAI's official website for this.

4. Web Portal

Official website can be used to register complaints for smooth customer care. Follow the below procedure to successfully file your grievance -

Step 1: Visit UIDAI’s official website 

Step 2:  Look for the ‘Contact & Support’ tab in the navigation bar

Step 3: Choose the ‘Grievance and Feedback’ option under the Grievance Redressal Mechanism category.

Step 4: Provide information and upload related documents.

Step 5: Note down the unique registration number to check the status on the portal.

5. Email

Send an email to help@uidai.gov.in that includes complaints, supportive documents, etc. The relevant department will connect you over email for further action and requests. 

6. Walk in at the regional office

If stating a query and uploading a document seems confusing, then you can visit relevant authorities at their regional offices. Here, you can directly consult and get your issue resolved. You just will need to know the department with which you need to file the complaint.        

7. By Post

You can simply mail your grievance or support needed to the UDIDAI central office or state-wise regional office. The UIDAI department will share your posts with the relevant authority for issue-solving.  

8. CPGRAMS

UIDAI has also set online resident portal i.e. Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), a portal by the government of India (GOI), where citizens can complain about issues and resolve their queries. 

Please note that you need to register on the CPGRAMS portal for grievance filing. Follow the below procedure for communicating grievances on the CPGRAMS portal - 

Step 1: Visit UIDAI website.

Step 2:  Select the grievance tab from the navigation bar.

Step 3: Select ‘Lodge Public Grievance’.

Step 4: File your complaint by sharing all relevant details.

Yes, you can file a complaint over the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) portal (Online) or via the official UIDAI website in the Contact & Support tab in the navigation bar.

Upon successfully filing queries or complaints, you receive a unique registration number which can be used to check the status of the query on the CPGRAMS portal.

Yes, you can have a duplicate Aadhar card via customer care. Login in your Aadhar account via a registered mobile number. Go to ‘My Aadhar’ → ‘Get Aadhaar’ → ‘Download Aadhaar’ → enter Aadhaar number → Enter OTP → download PDF.

The time limit set by UIDAI for response in normal cases is 30 days. If for any reason, there are any delays, the reason is to be mentioned by authorities.
