Google Pay introduced a new way to pay and accelerated the digitization process of India. Now, you can also add your debit card to your Google Pay account to seamlessly make transactions.

Google Pay has introduced a feature to add debit cards to the app to simplify the process. To add debit card to Google Pay, follow these steps.
Open Google Pay on your mobile device
Go to your profile picture, then to Bank Accounts and Cards, and then to Add Card.
Fill in the details such as the card number, expiry date, CVV, and the cardholder’s name and billing address, and click on Save
Once you accept the Terms & Conditions, the app will verify the card by contacting the bank
You can choose a method to verify your device
Once the device is verified, you will receive an OTP for additional authentication
Tap Activate next to your new card's payment method
Enter your one-time password
This password will be sent to the phone number associated with your Google Pay account via text message. If you do not receive a one-time password, double-check your contact information.
Once the OTP is verified, you will see a confirmation.
Your card is now ready for use once it has been verified.
Note: Currently, this facility is only available for Android devices.
To add your debit card to Google Pay, you need to verify the device. You can choose how cab receive the code.
You will receive the verification code in just a few minutes through this process. In case you don’t receive it, try again or contact your bank.
You can obtain a verification code by contacting your bank directly. You can also request a phone call using the Google Pay app.
You should sign into your bank's app to verify your payment method. If you don't have the app, download it before returning to the Google Pay app.
After you get your code through any one of the above ways, go back and enter it in the Google Pay app.
You can also remove debit cards that you no longer use.
Open Google Pay on your device
Click on Settings and then Payment Methods
Tap the card you want to remove and then choose Remove Card
