Step 1: Go to your nearby ATM (search on the Canara Bank mobile app or Google Maps).

Step 2: Insert your new Canara Bank ATM Card into an ATM.

Step 3: Click on your preferred language.  

Step 4: Click on ‘Green PIN’ or ‘Forgot PIN’.

Step 5: Enter your 13-digit Account number, and press ‘Correct’.  

Step 6: Enter your registered mobile number and click on ‘Correct’. An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number. Enter it at the ATM.  

Step 7: Create a new ATM PIN

Step 8: Enter the ATM twice for confirmation

Step 9: Click on “Submit”.

Generate Canara Bank ATM PIN by Mobile banking

You can easily generate your ATM PIN via mobile apps while sitting at home. The following steps make mobile banking PIN generation smooth and easy - 

Step 1: Download the "Canara ai1" app, from the Google Play Store or iOS Store.

Step 2: Registration for the first-time user is necessary via your registered mobile number. Log in to the app. 

Step 3: Press ‘PIN generation’ under the 'Cards' Tab.

Step 4: Further click on ‘Create a new PIN’.

Step 5: Enter your ATM card number, expiry date, CVV, and the new ATM PIN you want.

Step 6: Press confirm, and it’s done.

Canara Bank ATM PIN Generation via SMS

You can also generate your ATM PIN via SMS service. Here are the steps for it -

Step 1: Write a message to ‘567676’

Step 2: The body of the message should contain “PIN XXXX (Last 4 digits of ATM card) XXXX (Last 4 digits of Account Number)”.

Step 3: Keep the received OTP on your mobile to use later. Please note that it is valid for 2 days.

Step 4: Visit the ATM, and insert your ATM Card into the machine.

Step 5: Choose your language.  

Step 6: Press "Create PIN" and enter the OTP received earlier.

Step 7: Choose your new ATM PIN

Step 8: Enter the ATM twice for confirmation

Step 9: Click on “Submit”.

Remember to send the message from your registered mobile number.   

How to Generate Canara Bank ATM PIN via Internet Banking

Internet banking allows you to immediately use your ATM card without going to the ATM. Follow the below steps -

Step 1: Go to the official website of Canara Bank. Login using your credentials. 

Step 2: Choose the “Card PIN” from the navigation bar.

Step 3:  Then, click on ‘Generate PIN’ further.

Step 4: Select your ATM/ Debit Card.  

Step 5: Enter the ATM card number and CVV number; for the given card.  

Step 6: Click on ‘Generate OTP’. Enter the OTP shared on registered on your mobile number.

Step 7: Enter your new PIN twice for confirmation.

Step 8: Press ‘Generate Now’.

How to Generate ATM PIN Canara Bank Through IVR

If all these methods seem complex, just call the Interactive Voice Response Service (IVR), and generate your PIN. Follow these steps -

Step 1: You can call 1800-425-0018 to connect to the IVR service. 

Step 2: Choose the language in which you are comfortable.

Step 3: Click on specific buttons asked; to go to the ‘Debit Card Related Enquiry’ option.

Step 4: Choose ‘Generate Debit Card PIN’

Step 5: Enter your Account Number and then your debit card number.

Step 6: Then enter your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)

Step 7: Create your ATM PIN and enter the Expiry date (MM/YY).

Step 8: Re-enter the ATM PIN
