Through missed calls to toll free Indian Bank numbers

If instructions via SMS are difficult for you, then you can know your balance by giving a missed call to any Indian Bank toll-free number as explained in the next section.

Indian Bank Balance via Phone Banking IVR

Account holders can check their balance by calling the Indian Bank Customer Care Helpline 1800 4250 0000 from the registered mobile number and following the series of IVRS options to receive updates about their balance.

All you have to do is select a language, select the service you want to avail, and then choose - balance enquiry.

There are two ways by which you can know your balance by visiting the bank -

  1. Request balance information at the counter

Missed call option is the simplest option for those people who have very little expertise in using a phone. The phone service is available on a 24/7 basis without any extra charges. All you have to do is ensure that you are using your registered mobile number to call. The procedure is as follows:

Step 1: The customer should have his number registered with the bank account.

Step 2: A missed call should be made from the registered mobile number to +91 810878105

Step 3: An SMS carrying information about the balance will be received by you.

Indian Bank Balance via Official Bank App

The balance can be checked via the official bank applications for iOS and Android - IndOASIS. These applications can be downloaded from the Play Store or Apple Store and the procedure for checking balance is simple enough:

Step 1: Login to your account using MPIN or biometrics.

Step 2: To verify your account, enter your debit card credentials.

Step 3: Once the verification is done, tap on ‘My Account’.

Step 4: The balance is displayed on the screen.

If you are the customer with an account number 4334 5665 2131 and an MPIN 5555, then send an SMS typing BALAVL followed by the account number and then the MPIN to 9444394443. In this case, your SMS will be BALAVL 4334 5665 2131 5555 sent to 9444394443.

If you wish to avail of the Indian Bank SMS Banking facility to resolve any banking related enquiry, you can do so easily.

For example, you can generate an Indian Bank mini statement using SMS by typing LTRAN PIN and send it to 9444394443. Within a few minutes, you will receive your Indian Bank mini statement via a text message on your mobile.

If you wish to know your Indian Bank account details online, you need to follow the steps below -

  • Go to the Indian Bank online banking portal.

  • On the main page or home page, you should choose ‘personal banking’ as the option.

  • The next step involves entering your username and password to login to your account.

  • To proceed, you need to agree to the terms and conditions set by the bank.

  • After logging in, you need to click on the ‘accounts’ tab on your screen’s left.
