Step 4: Dial “1” again when prompted to generate a one-time password (OTP). The OTP will be sent to your mobile number via SMS.

Step 5: Type the 6-digit OTP.

Step 6: Once you enter the OTP, the IVR will ask you to set the 4-digit PIN followed by the “#” key.

Note: If you get disconnected at Step 4, call the number again. After Step 2 dial “2” to enter the 6 Digit OTP.

Here is how you can generate a new PIN for your HDFC credit card using an ATM:

Step 3: Select your credit card, and enter your new digit PIN. Then re-enter the 4-digit PIN and click “Continue”.

Step 4: You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click “Continue”.

After step 4 your HDFC credit card PIN would have changed.

To change your HDFC credit card PIN through SMS, simply send “CCPIN XXXX” (XXXX denotes the last 4 digits of your card) to 5676712.
