So you want to start making UPI payments through your credit card? The following guide will help you link your credit card to popular UPI apps like Gpay, PhonePe, and Paytm.
Follow these steps to link your credit card to Google Pay:
Step 1: Open the Google Pay app.
Step 2: Tap on your profile icon at the top right corner.
Step 3: Tap on “Pay with credit or debit cards” → “Add Card”.
Step 4: Your smartphone camera will activate. You can either scan your card or enter the card details manually.
Step 5: Enter all the required information.
Step 6: Tap on the “Save and continue” button.
Step 7: Accept the terms and conditions on the next screen.
Step 8: Choose your method of verification. You can choose between SMS and Email.
Step 9: Tap on continue, and you will receive a verification code.
Step 10: Enter the verification code.
Once you enter the verification code, your card will be added to Google Pay. Now you can make UPI payments through your credit card via Google Pay.
Here is how you can link your credit card to the PhonePe app:
Step 1: Open the PhonePe app.
Step 2: Tap on your profile icon at the top left corner.
Step 3: Under “Payment methods”, tap on “Debit & Credit Cards”.
Step 4: Enter the details of your credit card and tap on the “Add” button.
Step 5: The app will start the verification process. You will receive an OTP, which will be auto-fetched by the app, or you can enter it manually
Step 6: A transaction of ₹2 will be made from your card, which will be returned to your bank account.
You have now added your credit card to the PhonePe app.

Step 1: Open the Paytm app.
