A credit card PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a secure 4-digit code used to authenticate transactions made with a credit card. PIN generation is necessary to make point-of-sale transactions and to withdraw cash from an ATM with an Axis Bank credit card.
This article will guide you through the various methods and processes to generate and change the PIN for your Axis Bank credit card.
You can use the Axis Mobile app (now renamed as “Open”) to generate a PIN for your Axis Bank credit card.
Step 1: Install and log in to the Axis Mobile app.
Step 2: Tap on “Credit Cards”.
Step 3: Select “Generate PIN” for the card of your choice.
Step 4: Enter the new 4-digit PIN and re-enter it to confirm.
Once confirmed, you will have generated the new PIN.
You can generate a PIN for your credit card using the Internet Banking service provided by Axis Bank. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to the Internet Banking account.
Step 2: On the dashboard, select the “Account” option and click on “My Credit Cards”.
Step 3: Click on “More Services” and select “Credit Card PIN Change”.
Step 4: Click on “Go”.
Step 5: Enter the new 4-digit PIN of your choice.
Step 6: Re-enter the PIN and click “Next”.
Step 7: An OTP will be sent to your number. Enter the number and click “Confirm”.
Once done, you will have a generated PIN for your credit card.

You can also visit the nearest Axis Bank ATM and follow these steps to generate your credit card PIN:
Step 1: Insert your credit card into the ATM and select the language of your choice.
Step 2: Select the “Create PIN using OTP” option.
Step 3: You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP.
Step 4: Enter the new 4-digit PIN and re-enter it to confirm.
Once the new PIN has been generated, you will receive a confirmation SMS.
Call Axis Bank’s credit card customer care at 1860 419 5555 or 1860 500 5555 and follow these steps:
Step 1: Daily 2 to select “PIN Related Service”.
Step 2: Dial 1 to “Generate Debit/Credit PIN”.
Step 3: Dial 1 again to “Generate PIN for credit card”.
Step 4: When prompted, enter your credit card number, the expiry date of your card, your date of birth, and the registered mobile number.
Step 5: You will receive a one-time activation code. Enter the activation code when prompted.
Step 6: Enter the 4-digit PIN of your choice.
You will get a confirmation immediately once the PIN has been activated.
You may need to change your credit card PIN if your card is missing or stolen or if you notice suspicious activity on your credit card account.
You can change your credit card PIN by calling the customer service number 1860 419 5555 or 1860 500 5555 and selecting the option to change the PIN.

Go to the Axis Internet Banking portal and follow these instructions:
Step 1: Log in to your Internet banking account.
Step 2: Click on “My Credit Cards”.
Step 3: Select the card for which you want to change the PIN.
Step 4: Click on “More Services”.
Step 5: Click on “Credit Card PIN change”.
Step 6: Enter the new PIN.
Step 7: Enter the NetSecure Code received on the registered mobile number.
You can also visit an Axis Bank ATM to change your credit card PIN. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the nearest Axis Bank ATM.
Step 2: Insert your credit card and select the language of your choice.
Step 3: Select “Pin SET / Reset”.
Step 4: Follow the instructions given by the ATM to change the PIN.
