A Green PIN is a digitally generated code that is used to generate debit or credit card PINs. Green PINs can be generated for active and inactive cards. Inactive cards will be activated with Green PIN generation.

If you use the UCO Bank website or customer care helpline for PIN generation, only one transaction will be allowed through ATM or POS with a maximum amount of Rs.10,000. Also, e-commerce transactions will not be allowed. 

These restrictions will be applicable till 11:59 PM the next day from the time of Green PIN generation.

UCO Bank ATM PIN Generation Via ATM

To generate a PIN for your UCO Bank debit card, you first need to generate the Green PIN. You can then use the Green PIN to create the ATM PIN. Here are the steps you will need to follow:

Step 1: Visit the nearest UCO Bank ATM.

Step 2: Insert your debit card. You will find the ‘Green PIN’ option in the language selection screen.

Step 3: Choose the ‘Generate OTP’ option and enter your account number.

Step 4: You will receive an OTP on your mobile number.

Step 5: Remove and reinsert your card, and again select ‘Green PIN’.

Step 1: Open the UCO mBanking Plus app and log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Select ‘Manage Cards’ from the home screen and select ‘Green PIN Generation’. 

Step 3: Select the account number and click on ‘Proceed’.

Step 4: Select the card you want to generate a PIN for.

Step 5: Click on the ‘Generate Green PIN’ option. 

Step 6: Enter the debit card number and expiry date as prompted.

Step 7: Enter the new 4-digit ATM card PIN and click ‘Confirm’.

Step 8: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number, enter TPIN, and click ‘Submit’.

Once your new debit card PIN is accepted, you will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number.

You can generate a new PIN for your debit card using the UCO Bank website. Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit UCO Bank’s Green PIN generation webpage.

Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Generate Green PIN/Reset PIN’.

Step 3: Enter your debit card number, the card’s expiry date, and CVV. All this information will be available on the card.

Step 4: Enter your account number.

Step 5: Enter a new 4-digit PIN, and re-enter it in the ‘Confirm New PIN’ field.

Step 6: Enter the security captcha and click on ‘Send OTP’.

Step 7: You will receive an SMS on your registered number. Enter the OTP and click ‘Submit’.

On successful completion, you will get a notification saying you have changed your debit card PIN.

Step 1: Dial 1800 103 0123 to reach UCO Bank’s customer care helpline.

Step 2: Follow the instructions on the IVR for Green PIN generation. 

Step 3: Enter your ATM card information and registered mobile number for verification.

Step 4: Answer security questions to verify your identity.

Step 5: Request to create a new ATM PIN.

Step 6: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
