You can block your debit card online through your Net Banking account. Go to Kotak Mahindra’s Net Banking portal and follow these instructions:
Step 1: Log in to your Net Banking account using your credentials.
Step 2: Select “Banking” on the top navigation menu bar.
Step 3: Enter the OTP you receive on your mobile number or OTP.
Step 4: Under the “Debit Cards” menu click on the “Deactivate / Activate Card”.
Step 5: Select the card you wish to deactivate.
Step 6: Choose whether you want to block your card temporarily or permanently, and click on submit.
Step 7: Click “Confirm” on the final confirmation screen.
As soon as you click confirm your debit card will be blocked.
You can also block your debit card through the Kotak Mobile Banking app.
Step 1: Install the Kotak Mobile Banking App from Playstore or App Store.
Step 2: Log in to the app.
Step 3: Scroll to the “Card” section.
