STEP-4: Post the filled-in form with authentic documents, such as a driver's license, to the center's executive. The executive will check your document, keep a photocopy, and return the original.

STEP-5: You have to pay an amount of  Rs. 50/-. After submitting your application, you will receive an acknowledgment slip with your Update Request Number (URN). You can use this URN to track your Aadhaar update status online.

UIDAI recognizes more than 15 types of documents for identification. Some of the commonly accepted documents include:

STEP-3: Your URN is listed next to the questionnaire; below the question, there is a captcha code that you are to enter in the blank next to ‘Enter URN and captcha code’ and then press ‘Submit’.
